Liam has always been tough and rarely complained about anything. Then he began to suffer bone pain in his right heel, thought first to be a sprain, but then diagnosed with severe growing pains. Despite therapy his pain continued for months till finally he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January 2012, at 7 years old. Though he continues to suffer the side effects of the cancer, like numerous broken bones, he is doing well and in remission. He spends his days drawing, playing army men and legos. We hope he will finish his chemo treatment early 2015. Hes as tough as ever and has been an inspiration to his parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
