CCN’s February 24th Run to Fight Cancer Hero is Noah!
Noah was diagnosed at the age of 9 and is now 11 years old. He was diagnosed with High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in August, 2015 and now has less than a year of treatment left. He and his family are looking forward to Dec. 9, 2018 because that should be his last day of treatment! Noah is doing amazingly well and even though it has been a difficult road he stays positive. He ran 4 triathlons last year and even placed 1st in the Phoenix Championship Series! Being active and playing basketball are some things that get him through it. His favorite basketball players are Kyrie Irving, Stephen Curry, and LaBron James. Noah’s super heroes are his family: Mom, Dad, three sisters and brother. Three things he would like to tell someone newly diagnosed with cancer are: 1) There’s always some good out of something bad. 2) It brings your family closer together. 3) You will not fight alone! Noah’s family is grateful to CCN for the opportunity to be in our annual Inspirations Fashion Show, food and gas cards, and being adopted at Christmas and Back to School as well.To learn more information about the Run to Fight Children’s Cancer go to runtofightcancer.com
