Volunteer – It’s All About You – JUST FOR GIRLS, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 @ Children's Cancer Network

It’s All About You JUST FOR GIRLS is a non-medical program focusing on health and wellness for girls of all ages and their moms affected by childhood cancer. Recognizing that wellness and feeling good involve positively affecting the mind, body, and spirit, this initiative focuses on ways to increase knowledge, build self-esteem, learn positive coping skills, develop relationships with others who have similar experiences, and have fun in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

There will be pre-planned fun activities for all ages including games, crafts, surprise guests, and creative projects to learn about nutrition, exercise, relaxation, and more. Dinner and lots of amazing giveaways are included!!

Volunteers will arrive at 5:00 p.m. with event start at 5:30 p.m. Volunteers will assist with the activities and learning stations.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for CCN.  This event is now full.  Join us at the Ronald McDonald House to serve dinner to the families!  Menu will be planned in advance by the team lead.  Four to Six volunteers are needed to prepare, serve and clean up a healthy dinner.  Enjoy meeting other volunteers and families as you provide service in your community.

Volunteer – Holiday Tree Decorating, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 @ Children's Cancer Network

Please join us as we decorate Holiday Trees!

Volunteers will be decorating 4′ trees in the CCN warehouse. Ornaments, garland and trees will be supplied for this wonderful project to benefit families facing Childhood Cancer. All trees will be distributed through CCN’s Holiday Surprise Adopt-A-Family program.

Join us for a morning full of laughter and good spirits!  Don’t forget to bring a sweater as the warehouse can be a bit chilly in November!

Volunteer – Coyotes 50/50 Raffle, Thursday, December 20, 2018 @ Gila River Arena

Please join as a volunteer at the Coyotes game selling 50/50 Raffle tickets!


  • Volunteers must be 18 years or older in order to sell tickets. A limited number of children children (8 and older) are welcome to attend with an adult. If you are 18 or older you may be asked to sell alone and not necessarily in pairs.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and be ready to walk or stand for the first two periods of the game.
  • Wear warm clothing or a jacket as the arena is cold!  A Children’s Cancer Network t-shirt will be provided for all volunteers to wear over their warm clothing.
  • Training starts promptly 2 hours prior to the game.
  • Plan to arrive on time and take into account traffic, parking, and the time it takes to walk from the parking area.
  • Parking is free in the employee parking lot and an option is available to park closer to the stadium for standard parking fees.
  • Discounted tickets for family and guests not selling tickets are available based on availability.  These tickets need to be requested and purchased no later than one week before game day.  Please call CCN to arrange for these tickets (480-398-1564).
