MaCinda is the mother of a son who was diagnosed with Leukemia four years ago at the age of 8. While her son experienced a number of set backs after the initial diagnosis, he completed his treatments in 2010. MaCinda has spent the last four years caring for her son so that her husband could work and provide for the family.
MaCinda says that her family of three children and a husband is her life and her children’s education is a top priority. By returning to school she hopes to set a good example for them. Her second joy in life is her pets – five dogs and a cat. She will attend Anthem College in Phoenix to complete a Veterinary Technician Program and become a Certified Technician.
