Our sixth annual Fashion Show, Auction and Luncheon, "A Star-Studded Affair," was held February 8, 2009 at the legendary Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. From the scanning spotlights as guests arrived to the special appearance by the Arizona Ghostbusters, Hollywood excitement was in the air! A wide variety of silent auction and raffle items included relaxing resort stays, pampering spa packages, and Movie Mania baskets filled with themed goodies from favorite hit movies. Live auction items ranged from a framed, autographed Arizona Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald jersey to a gorgeous diamond bracelet from G. G. Gems.

Undeniably, the highlight of the afternoon was the fashion show with our adorable models. In their outfits from Dillard's and accompanied by the adorable "Healing Paws" dogs from the animal assisted therapy program at Phoenix Children's Hospital, their amazing stories of courage and perseverance were shared. This annual event is a special time for our children and families, guests and volunteers to come together for an afternoon of fun and celebration in support of the fight against cancer
